How coaching can help you?
Coaching, unlike almost every other moment in your life, gives you an opportunity to talk and think about you, without interruption or judgement. That’s a powerful thing!
Through coaching we can discover what it is you want to achieve, who you want to be and where your pain points are – where you’re finding it hard make progress, or times you feel uncomfortable or unmotivated.
You’ll learn how to see situations from new perspectives, to step back and see yourself in new ways – ways that will help you feel good about yourself, ways that can help you believe in yourself more.
Taking time out to reflect on your thinking patterns, you’ll bring awareness of what you tell yourself and identify times when you’re being overly critical or unkind to yourself. This creates opportunity for you to challenge your inner critic and create new positive ways of thinking.
If you had a friend who found fault in everything you do, who said you can’t do it or will get it wrong all the time, you’d find a new friend right? But that’s so often what we talk to ourselves with our thinking.
Just imagine if that voice was cheering you on instead? Imagine for a moment that your inner voice were giving you encouragement, pointing out the things you have and can do well and helping you to do and be all the things you want in life – what a difference that would make!
You get to rewrite the story you’ve been telling yourself. You know, the story you’ve been telling yourself about who you should be, that holds you back, rather than the one about who you want and can be? Coaching helps you shift from one story to another, to the one that connects you to your own brilliance!
Coaching provides a safe space for you to reflect on who you are and what you want – it helps you create a map with a big X that marks your treasure, and then supports you in working out how to go to get there.
And it provides you with me, a friendly and encouraging support, to listen to you and bounce ideas around with – providing you with that all important accountability. Someone you can feel safe with and who will help you see your qualities and opportunities. Because the answers are already within you, coaching just helps you hear them.

Here is how it works, we’ll meet, one-to-one, each week for an hour and a half and we’ll chat about what’s on your mind. I’ll ask you some questions, you might ponder a bit… maybe explore how you feel. I might show you a technique or two you can use. You’ll go away and reflect on things for a week, start putting your ideas into action, and then come back the next week with new insights for us to look at together.
Once you’ve worked out what it is you want, then you get to work out how you’ll make that happen. Maybe you have really deep rooted beliefs that hold you back or perhaps you worry a lot and get caught in a cycle of negativity? We will work together to create new ways of thinking, ways that will build you up and transform how you feel. We will work together to let go of beliefs that leave you feeling small and fearful, and create new ones that connect you to your brilliance.
I won’t give you advice, or tell you what to do (sorry), because only you have the answers you need – what you’re looking for is inside you. We won’t dwell too long on the negatives, I’m here to walk side by side with you on your journey, to support you and provide you with accountability and help you unlock your potential so you can thrive.
No matter how unachievable it might first seem, you can rewrite your story and let go of the thinking and beliefs that serves you no purpose. You can live your dreams.
