Hello! I’m Nancy and I am a coach and NLP practitioner who offers friendly and relaxed one-to-one coaching sessions for people who want to take some time out to invest in themselves.
Coaching, unlike almost every other moment in your life, gives you an opportunity to talk and think about you, without interruption or judgement. That’s a powerful thing!
No matter what your motivation for coaching, sessions provide you with space to reflect and explore what you want achieve, where you are in relation to your goal and how you can make your goal your reality. You can look at where you’re finding life hard, or times you feel overwhelmed or unmotivated and begin to take steps to move towards your desired outcome.
You’ll learn how to see situations from new perspectives, to step back and see yourself in new ways – ways that will help you feel good about yourself, ways that can help you believe in yourself and your capabilities more.
And it provides you with me, a friendly and encouraging support, to listen to you and explore with – providing you with that all important accountability. Someone you can feel safe with and who will help you see your qualities and opportunities.
I coach all kinds of people work towards a whole range of goals – because just as we are all unique, life isn’t one size fits all – so neither should your coaching sessions. No matter what you want to work on, you hold the answers within you, coaching just helps you hear them.
Coaching for Loss
If you are someone who has experienced loss and are thinking ‘where do I go from here?’ coaching can be an effective way to support you in adjusting to your changed life. I can provide you with a safe space, to listen and support you in looking at the impact of your loss, helping you adjust and identify ways you can begin to move forward, in a time and way that’s right for you.
I’ll support you in identifying what ‘good’ looks like in your changed life and we can explore how you can cope with any challenges you may face. You’ll have an encouraging support who provides accountability, to help you move forward, without losing what’s important to you.
Grief is the response we feel to a loss. Loss can feature in our lives in many different ways, for example:
- Bereavement of a person or pet
- Loss of career
- Loss of relationships
- Loss of physical wellbeing
- Loss of financial security
- Loss of identity (after becoming a parent for example)
Each person needs to adjust to and cope with their loss in their own way, in their own time. I appreciate the enormity of grief and know that each experience is unique; I am here to support you in a way that works for you.
Bereavement is the grief a person feels in response to a death. Each person’s journey through grief is as unique as the person, or pet, who has died. People will often experience similar feelings, but no two journeys through grief are the same. Coaching offers a way for you to talk in a neutral environment where you don’t have to worry about how the person listening is feeling. You can speak honestly and openly, acknowledging and validating how you feel so you can begin to express emotions in a safe way. I’ll support you in looking at the impact of your loss, helping you to adjust and identify ways to begin to move forward, while managing the pain of your loss, in your own time.
There are many models of grief and different ways people find support with their loss, there is no one way to manage grief and nor should there be. Together we can look at different approaches to coping with loss and find strategies and tools that work for you, giving you the support you need in a way that feels right for you.

Here is how it works, we’ll meet, one-to-one, each week for an hour and a half and we’ll chat about what’s on your mind, about how you are feeling and explore your goals and the outcome you want to achieve. I’ll ask you some questions, we might work through an exercise or technique that can help and you’ll have time to think, reflect and focus on you.
Once you’ve worked out what it is you want, then you get to work out how you’ll make that happen. This will look different for everyone, for some this might be creating an action plan and getting support with accountability to help keep you motivated in moving forward with your goal. For others it might be exploring feelings and working out how to adapt to change.
Through this empowering process you’ll discover that you have all the answers you need within you. Coaching is goal focused, helping you move forward in a way that’s right for you. I’m here to walk side by side with you on your journey, to support you and provide you with accountability and help you thrive.
